Hello Friends!! I’m so excited to share todays project with all of you, and I have teamed up with some friends who are also sharing some fun DIY’s today too! Nothing like tackling a project, or working with your hands to beat some of those winter blues away. This is my favorite time of year to do DIY, because it’s too cold to be outside, and with no holidays or upcoming festivities, I can focus on some of those to-do list items I have been pushing off for awhile. Today I’m sharing how I DIY’d a planked ceiling in our bathroom.

DIY | Vintage Whitewashed Nutcracker
Hello Friends! Well it’s safe to say that the Christmas boxes have begun to make their way out of storage over here. My wheels have been spinning, as I begin to pull together all my thoughts and ideas for how I want to decorate our home for Christmas this year. Of course, I have many things I’m excited to see come out of the bins, but I’ve also picked up a few new pieces as well. One being these cute wooden nutcrackers from Michael’s this year. I wanted to give them a neutral – vintage look, to our Christmas decor this year, so today I’m showing you just how gave these nutcrackers a vintage, whitewashed look.

DIY | Vintage Crate Planter
Hello Friends! I shared our outdoor patio space the other day all ready for summer! It truly is one of our favorite spaces that we enjoy all summer long, and I shared how even though it’s surrounded by trees, I still love to bring potted plants, because it makes the entire space feel so cozy. Today I’m sharing a new planter I made using one of my vintage crates, and I love how it turned out.
DIY | Lime Wash Lamps
If you caught my spring mantle yesterday, than you may have noticed the addition of a new table lamp on my buffet in the dining room. I mentioned that the white lamp we used to have in the dining room, is now in the kitchen on the antique dresser. I used that lamp in our dining room on our buffet quite frequently, so I needed to replace it with something quick. I decided to give some older lamps a little makeover, so today I’m sharing just how I did that.
DIY Hanging Basket
Hello Friends! There’s nothing like doing a little Spring DIY to get you in the mood for Spring. Our temps are still in the low 30’s, and even though they appear to be stuck there, I’m willing my way into Spring with the decor inside our home. I’ve had this hanging basket for a few years now, but decided to give it a little makeover to freshen things up for Spring. Come and take a look!
