I have to say, this is always my favorite time of the year in our kitchen. I mean don’t get me wrong, I love our kitchen all year long, but I absolutely love decorating our open shelves for Christmas. It’s really something I look forward too, and find myself a bit sad when it’s time to take it all down. I love spending some time focusing on all the little details, and then how magical they feel once I’m done and they are all festively decorated.

Hello Friends!! I shared yesterday how we are beginning to slowly transition into fall. I think one thing I always have to remind myself when I’m swapping out our seasonal decor, is that it’s not a race. I don’t have to rush to have it completely finished in one day. I can take my time, and work my way around out house, creating little vignettes here, or swapping out throw pillows there. Because when I rush, I don’t always enjoy it – it feels more forced. Hello Friends!! Well, demo has officially begun on our kitchen floor. I have to be honest with you, this tile demo has truly been a test of stamina. After tearing up the tile floor in our master bathroom makeover, I anticipated the mess. The debris and dust that comes with construction. I thought it would be like our bathroom. I thought there would be some work, but I never expected it to be like this.
