Hello friends!! I have gotten so many questions about my Christmas tree skirt, I wanted to designate a post just to share it! I’ve always love the look of blankets draped around the bottom of a tree skirt vs. a traditional tree skirt. I’m not 100% sure why, but to me it just looks more cozy and relaxed. I’ve used a chunky knit blanket the last few years, and the shop I got it from is no longer in business, but fear not, I have rounded up a few different places you can find them!

Christmas Tree | 2019
Friends I am so excited to share this years Christmas Tree with all of you! After sharing how we lost 2 of our Christmas trees this past year to water damage in our basement, I shared a round up of some of the Christmas trees I spotted when I was looking to replace ours from last year. And I have to say, I am very impressed with this super affordable Christmas tree from non other than Amazon!

Transitioning Throw Pillows | Christmas Edition
I’ve mentioned it before, but one of the ways I like to transition the decor in my home from season to season is swapping out my throw pillow covers. I actually keep them all in the trunk in our living room that we use as a coffee table, so they are close by when I’m ready to swap things over. This makes it super easy to do a quick change in my decor, without the expense of buying all new pillows every time. So I wanted to share how I transitioned our couch pillows over recently for Christmas.
Simple Christmas Vignette
I know I’ve said before that tablescapes are my favorite thing to create here on the blog, but coming in at a close second would have to be vignettes. Yesterday I shared a Green + White holiday tablescape, and I always love to create a vignette on the buffet in our dining room that coordinates. So today I’m sharing the simple Christmas vignette I created to go along with yesterdays tablescape.
Green + White Christmas Tree Tablescape
Hello friends! I’m so excited to share today’s post with you, because it just so happens to be one of my most favorite things to do – tablescapes! I’m joined by some of my favorite blogging friends today as we share our Christmas dining rooms and tablescapes with you, and this is always one of my most favorite posts to do as we begin to share our homes for the holidays.
The Best Coffee Cake
I don’t know about you, but growing up one of my favorite treats whenever we would go to someone’s house was coffee cake! Whenever my mom would get invited somewhere, my sisters and I would be in tow, but secretly we were all excited to see what treats they would be serving. Somewhere along the way, I think I became a secret judge, critiquing the coffee cake we would be served at these “mommy coffee dates”, but non-the-less I was always happy to be a taste tester. I found this coffee cake recipe years ago, made one tiny change to it, and it has been my go-to best coffee cake recipe ever! And I’m sharing the recipe with you today!
