Hello friends!! Happy Monday, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! There is something so refreshing about the weekend, we love to curl up and just relax and refresh on the weekends. Our weeks are so busy, that we’ve found it absolutely necessary to take time to allow proper rest on the weekends, and time spent with the family so that we can return to Monday and be ready to tackle the week ahead. Our #1 space to relax in is our living room, and I hinted in a previous post that I am getting ready to switch a few things out.

Hi Friends! I’ve been keeping a secret! I had every intention of sharing this with you weeks ago, but with family things going on, recovery from the holidays, and then our weather not cooperating when I did have a moment to take pictures, it just didn’t happen. Enough is enough, the sun was out yesterday, and I pulled my camera out real quick so I could show you how I added some warmth in our kitchen.

Hello Friends! If you caught my Goals post last week, than you know we are gearing up to tackle our master bathroom. If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, well heck even since the beginning than you may be thinking to yourself you don’t recall seeing our master bathroom, and you’re right! As I mentioned our bathroom is very blah lacking in charm, and a VERY beige state as well lol. This past week I’ve been browsing and narrowing down my ideas, and finalizing all the details. I’m happy to report that everything has been finalized, and it’s on it’s way. So I put together a mood board with the selections I’ve made, and wanted to give you a little insight as to why I chose what I did. Here is the design plan I put together.

Hello Friends! I finally feel like I can take a deep breath after all of the holiday commotion. Now that I’m putting the house back in order, and cleaning to the extent of what feels like spring cleaning around here, I rounded up one of my favorite home decor / storage friends that makes my life (and yours) a whole lot easier. Baskets! I think I have a few baskets in just about every room of our house, some purposeful, and some just empty so they are ready to corral any loose laying items around. Happy New Year friends!!! I hope you are resting in reflecting with full hearts after all of the holiday celebrations, and everything that came with 2017. This past week has been FULL of spending time with family, even last night, we rang in the New Years here at home with our kids, and my sister, her husband and darling 3 yr. old niece. I have to say it truly is a highlight to see the joy on my kids faces as we celebrate the holidays, the many blessings God has poured out in our lives, and now the anticipation of what the New Year will bring.
