Christmas Village Mantel
I mentioned in yesterdays post that Christmas decorating is in full swing around here! If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have caught my stories the other week about my tiny obsession with small white houses to decorate with for Christmas. Ummm I'm not sure where it came from, but I do know this obsession intensified last year, and the moment these cute little houses hit the shelves this year I have been scooping them up. So today I'm sharing how I decorated our "mantel" (a.k.a. the buffet in my dining room) into a tiny Christmas village. ... Read More about Christmas Village Mantel
Christmas in the Living Room | 2018
Hello Friends and happy Monday!! Christmas decorating is in full swing over here, and it's funny each year, I feel like I liked the previous years Christmas decor better, and contemplate on what I will do / add this year. But then once I start finishing spaces around our house, I end up liking this years decor better. Isn't it funny how that happens. I never really feel like I can do better than the previous years, and yet somehow like each years better than the one before. I don't know how that is possible, and as much as I don't plan on changing it up, each year my christmas decor evolves into something slightly different. Today I'm sharing some decorating I've done around our living room, ... Read More about Christmas in the Living Room | 2018
My Winter Style
Changing gears up a bit today from home decor, I decided to round up some of my go-to clothing pieces to share with all of you! Whenever I pop into my stories on IG, I end up getting asked a lot where my clothes are from. And if you are following me on Instagram, and have seen most of my stories lately than perhaps you already know about the infamous beanie I've been wearing quite often! Seriously, it's like a sweatshirt for your head, and it is SO comfy, and I guess we can say that is what the culprit is for all the clothes chatter. Because one day when I was talking in my stories, the beanie came up in conversation, and I ended up going down a rabbit trail on clothes, lol! Then yesterday I ... Read More about My Winter Style

The Softest Gingerbread Cookies
Friends, I don't know about you, but one tradition I love during the holidays is to make Christmas cookies. It's funny how these little things we do year after year, end up holding such a special place in our hearts, that I can't image letting the holiday season go by without making Christmas cookies, and baking gingerbread. Growing up, we made gingerbread houses at my grandmothers house every year. It was quite the event! And now every time the smell of warm gingerbread fills my kitchen, it takes me right back to when I was a little girl, watching my grandmother navigate royal frosting like a true artist. Today I'm sharing a gingerbread cookie recipe with you, that varies a bit from the ... Read More about The Softest Gingerbread Cookies

Asymmetrical Holiday Wreath
Hello Friends!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Well this week kicks off the holiday decorating madness. HA HA! But before we totally jump into full swing Christmas, I wanted you to know, that while blogging has me decorating for the holidays a little bit earlier than I normally would, it is solely for the purpose to provide inspiration. And I will tell you this, I do find joy in it, and so does my family. I think if I resented decorating early, I wouldn't be so cheerful doing it, and you would totally be able to tell in how my message is coming across. But honestly by the time we get to Halloween I am totally craving all things Christmas, my kids are greatly anticipating it, and ... Read More about Asymmetrical Holiday Wreath
