Hello Friends! I’m so excited to be sharing more fall looks around our home today, this time in our living room! I have some very special blogging friends joining me today. part of the Seasons of Home tour series, hosted by Kristen from Ella Claire. I have to tell you I was a little stumped this year when it came to adding fall touches to our living room. I couldn’t settle on a color to bring in or take out. My typical go-to grays just weren’t cutting it for me this time around. I went back to the colors I used in my fall kitchen, and how much I loved those.

Orange & Gray Fall Tablescape
I am back outside today in our patio area, this time with an orange & gray themed tablescape. Honestly this color combo sort of evolved on it’s own. I was collecting a few items to bring out on the table, and as soon as I placed them down all together, I loved the warmer tones of the copper and wood paired with the gray and white flannel blanket. I grabbed some muted pumpkins and some dark napkins, and before I knew it the look was complete!
Fall Tablescape | Seasons of Home series
Whether this is your first time visiting, or you’ve been a regular reader for a while, it’s no secret I love creating tablescapes! Honestly they are probably just about my most favorite thing to do ever, and I’m so excited to be participating in todays Season of Home series – Fall Tablescapes. This past spring we expanded our outdoor patio area, and transformed what was once over grown weeds and debris into this outdoor eating area. We have been fully enjoying this new space all summer long, and I’m so excited to continue to use it this fall, as we gather for chillier nights around the fire.
Fall Vignette
Hello Friends!! I’m so happy to be joining in another round of the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Series this week, this time sharing our fall decorated mantles or vignettes! Honestly, vignettes are my favorite thing to create – next to Tablescapes that is, I love creating smaller arrangements, and the flexibility to change it up as often as I feel, or leave it that way for months if I like. There is so much flexibility with it, and I like to think it’s the one thing I’ve been doing since I was 13, lol! The dresser turned buffet in our dining room is where I change out my decor seasonally the most. I love clearing it off completely and creating a new vignette every time. For fall I like to keep things pretty simple, stacked pumpkins are my go to, and I love how subtle these muted pumpkins bring in all the feels for fall.

DIY Fall Wreath
I decided to do something little bit different than a traditional wreath. I love getting fresh wreaths for fall that will last me until Christmas, but since it’s still supposed to be in the high 80’s this week, I wanted to wait until the temperature drops a bit so it doesn’t speed up the drying out time. I wanted something that could be hung on our door, but also used in other places around our house as well.

DIY Pumpkin Centerpiece
Thank you SO much for all of your lovely comments on my Thanksgiving Table I shared over the weekend. It was so much fun to create, and I’m so glad you guys loved it as much as I do! I have gotten so many questions about the pumpkin centerpiece, so today I’m going to share with you how I made it. **Disclaimer: I’m not the best at sharing tutorials, half the time I just wing it, so this is my attempt to show you how I created it from photos I quickly snapped along the way.** I will do my best to make sure I cover all the details, but please don’t hesitate to ask questions about what I used, or how I did something.
Pumpkin Centerpiece Thanksgiving Table
Hello friends! I’m so excited to share this years Thanksgiving Table with you. I’ll be honest after the huge response to last years table, I was a little worries about creating one this year, in fear of how I was going to make it better than the years before. I think that as bloggers we sometimes feel that we have to outdo the previous years before, and we are constantly competing with ourselves to create the next biggest and best thing! So after getting over that fear of not creating something better than last years table, I started focusing on just something that I would want to create.
Fall Table Setting
I love the simplicity that pumpkins add to my dining room table in the fall. They’ve become my go-to decor piece for fall decorating, but unlike using real flowers like I do in the spring and summer, these don’t die at the end of the week. Today I’m sharing my step-by-step process of creating a fall table setting, just to break it down for my decor friends that like to see the whole process from start to finish.
