The Christmas decorating has officially commenced in our house, and I’m excited to share the first glimpse’s of our Farmhouse Christmas style with you today!
Transitioning Throw Pillows | Christmas Edition
I’ve mentioned it before, but one of the ways I like to transition the decor in my home from season to season is swapping out my throw pillow covers. I actually keep them all in the trunk in our living room that we use as a coffee table, so they are close by when I’m ready to swap things over. This makes it super easy to do a quick change in my decor, without the expense of buying all new pillows every time. So I wanted to share how I transitioned our couch pillows over recently for Christmas.
Simple Christmas Vignette
I know I’ve said before that tablescapes are my favorite thing to create here on the blog, but coming in at a close second would have to be vignettes. Yesterday I shared a Green + White holiday tablescape, and I always love to create a vignette on the buffet in our dining room that coordinates. So today I’m sharing the simple Christmas vignette I created to go along with yesterdays tablescape.

I’m joined by some of my favorite blogging friends today as we share our Christmas dining rooms and tablescapes with you, and this is always one of my most favorite posts to do as we begin to share our homes for the holidays.
Favorite Christmas Decor | 2019
Have you ever gotten to the stores, or seen a beautiful home online, and loved the holiday decor so much, you ask where they got something and you head straight there only to find it’s SOLD OUT! Ugh, I hate it when that happens. So I’ve rounded up my favorite Christmas Decor for you today. While I’ve been looking for inspiration for this years Christmas decor, these are the pieces that have totally caught my eye ~
My Favorite Christmas Trees
Hello friends! Last week as I began pulling bins out of our basement of Christmas decor, I discovered that there had been some water damage. After loosing a large bin of Christmas decor the previous year to water damage, I thought I had stored everything properly so this couldn’t happen again – but I was wrong. I lost two Christmas trees this year to water damage, but I’m happy to report though that I found a new Christmas tree, on Amazon non-the-less, so today I’m sharing some pictures of Christmas trees past, and a round up of some of my favorite Christmas trees, in case you happen to be in the market too.
Christmas in the Kitchen | 2019
I have to say, this is always my favorite time of the year in our kitchen. I mean don’t get me wrong, I love our kitchen all year long, but I absolutely love decorating our open shelves for Christmas. It’s really something I look forward too, and find myself a bit sad when it’s time to take it all down. I love spending some time focusing on all the little details, and then how magical they feel once I’m done and they are all festively decorated.
Thanksgiving Table Essentials
Friends, it’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is this month! I know to some it may feel the day we spend hours laboring in the kitchen, but I choose to look at it as a labor of love. Today I’m sharing all of my favorite Thanksgiving Table Essentials, so you can spend less time over worrying where to find just the right napkins to complete your thanksgiving tablescape, and more time anticipating the time we get to spend with family & friends.
Thanksgiving Bar Cart
Do you host Thanksgiving? Even if you don’t, I think there is one thing we can all agree on – where do we put all the food?! All at once every table top surface becomes valuable real estate, and there is just never enough room. Today I’m sharing a Thanksgiving styled bar cart, and how it can help provide you extra room for all those yummy Thanksgiving treats.
