Today I’m sharing our kitchen progression with you. While we haven’t replaced any cabinets or countertops I think you will be amazed at the transformation this space has undergone over the past 6 years.
Living Room Progression
I shared earlier this week that it was 6 years ago on March 28th that we signed on our first home! To celebrate that milestone I’m sharing how different rooms in our house have progressed over these past 6 years. It’s undergone quite the transformation as I discovered my true style and really established what I love in my home.
Dining Room Progression
When we first moved in pretty much every room in the house was yellow, and I couldn’t wait to put my signature on it. I was excited to make this house a home. Today I’m going to share our Dining Room progression over the past 6 years.
Celebrating Milestones
Six years ago today my husband and I did our 4th serious grown-up accomplishment. We sat down and signed away what felt like our life, and some of the scariest documents we had ever seen, but what turned out to be one of the most exciting things we did together. Although it was extremely intimidating and there were moments that felt like this was never going to happen, on March 28th, 2011, only 10 weeks after the birth of our second child, we bought our first house. I can still remember sitting there with butterflies in my stomach of severe excitement and also anxiety of what would happen to us if this all went south. There’s no guarantees in life, and so when you commit to a bank for the next 30 years of finances, you pretty much feel like you are signing your life over. Little did I know that owning our first home would inspire me to document all my transformations that resulted in starting this blog.
