Favorite Christmas Decor | 2019
Do you shop online for your Christmas decor, or head to the stores? I'll be honest I do a little bit of both. While I love browsing online in my pj's and coffee in hand, I also can't help browsing through the Christmas decor when I go into Target or HomeGoods either. But do you want to know my secret? I start buying NOW, sometimes earlier too! Have you ever gotten to the stores, or seen a beautiful home online, and loved the holiday decor so much, you ask where they got something and you head straight there only to the shelves empty! ... My Favorite Christmas Trees
Hello friends! Last week as I began pulling bins out of our basement of Christmas decor, I discovered that there had been some water damage. After loosing a large bin of Christmas decor the previous year to water damage, I thought I had stored everything properly so this couldn't happen again - but I was wrong. Unfortunately in our 1846 farmhouse, our basement gets water running through it every time there is a heavy rain that moves in, so we keeps things up on shelves and in plastic totes. Well, I lost two Christmas trees this year to water damage :( UGH! Such a sad day, despite my best efforts to keep things stored properly. I'm happy to report though that I found a new Christmas tree, on ... Read More about My Favorite Christmas Trees

Christmas Lights at Night
Christmas is less than a week away, and I can hardly believe it! I really haven't even begun to wrap my head around the fact, that right behind it is a new year, with all the new possibilities it will bring. I have to say though, I think my favorite part about having our Christmas decor up, is the glow of the white lights at night. That is always the part I miss the most when it comes time to take down the decorations. So to savor every bit of it, I wanted to share some pics of tree all aglow at night, and I've teamed up with some blogging friends who are also sharing little bits around their home of Christmas lights at Night. I've included the lyrics to one of my favorite Christmas songs ... Read More about Christmas Lights at Night
A little Christmas Nostalgia
You've heard me say it before! Actually I feel like it's all I've been saying for at least the last few years. When it comes to decorating for Christmas I love using tiny trees! Like seriously LOVE. lol. I've been adding tiny trees to me christmas decor for at least the last 5 years, and 4 years ago my husband jokingly decided to count them until the number reached over 100 and he gave up, ha! Well, I've still been adding since then, and I've shared HERE and HERE on the blog many different ways I've decorated with them. But what I haven't shared is where the obsession came from. So today, I'm sharing a little christmas nostalgia in where my love for decorating with trees all ... Read More about A little Christmas Nostalgia

I love seeing how others decorate their homes for the holidays, even if their style is completely different from mine, there is so much inspiration to be found. And who knows, sometimes I find a ... 5 Tips for Decorating for Christmas
Do you hit a wall with decorating? I mean, I think we all hit a wall at some point or another, but do you hit a wall when it comes to decorating for Christmas? I do. No joke, as much as I love decorating for christmas, and anticipate it all year long, there comes a point ohhh about 2/3 of the way in to decorating our home for Christmas that I hit a wall. It's kind of like when you have a christmas cookie, and then another, and then another, and then you make a cup of coffee, because what wouldn't better than a hot cup of jo to accompany said christmas cookies, then you have a few more, and all of a sudden you hit that wall of christmas cookie overload, and suddenly you've had too much. I ... Read More about 5 Tips for Decorating for Christmas
