Thank you so much for all your sweet comments on Part 1 of our New Home Tour! Before we jump in to Part 2, I wanted to show you some of the inspiration photos I’ve been saving for the exterior of our home, and share some exciting news!! You’ve probably heard me say before, how vital I believe it is to have 3-5 inspiration photos when it comes to decorating the inside of your home, but I also believe the same is true when it comes to the outside of our homes as well! Gathering inspiration photos is so helpful in providing clarity to your design likes, as well as helping you see an end result to shoot for. This doesn’t mean that your space is going to come out exactly like the space in your inspiration photo, but it does help guide you, and give you vision when you are in the process of creating a space you love. So today I’m sharing the photos I’ve saved that are my inspiration for the exterior of our home.

Hello Friends!! It has been a little while since I last posted, and that’s because we took the plunge and tackled a few of our bigger projects here at our new home, so that we could finally start to unpack more and settle in. Hello Friends!! What a week it has been! We have buckled down on some of our first projects we wanted to tackle on the inside of our home, before we unpack decor and hang pictures on the wall, and per usual they have turned out to be a bit more in depth than we anticipated, lol. But that’s how it goes with home projects, so while we work on a few things on the inside, I wanted to show you more of the exterior of our new home.

Hello Friends!! I’m so excited for today, because today our New Home Tour is up on our NEW YouTube channel! I will be sharing all the photos of our new home here on the blog this week, along with some of our plans for this new space! I shared a couple little sneak peeks on Instagram this past week, but really wanted to wait until you could watch our new home tour video. There is so much we love about this new home, the interior as well as the property and all it has to offer. To say we feel like we are on a little slice of heaven is an understatement, and I can’t wait for you to finally see!

Hello friends!! Well things have certainly been busy over here as we pack up and move out of our beloved home we’ve been in for the last 10 years. It’s bittersweet for sure, and crazy to think that I started my blog shortly after we moved in to document all the changes we had planned for this home! We’re MOVING!!!

Hello Friends! I am honestly sitting here in shock as I type this. I honestly wasn’t sure if this day would ever happen, and I’ve played it over and over in my mind on how I would announce this, but no matter how many times I tried to think of a catchy title for this announcement, I just keep coming back to the fact that – WE ARE MOVING!! Honestly it still just feels so surreal to even be saying that, but the day has finally come that I get to share this joyous news with all of you!

Tween Girl Bedroom Makeover

Hello Friends!! Today I am sharing our daughters most recent bedroom makeover. I honestly can’t even believe I’m using the word “tween” to describe her bedroom, because after all she is still my baby girl. And while she will always be my baby, my now 10 year old daughter had been longing for a room that felt more like her, and a little less pink. She had been asking for her room to be painted blue for over a year, but patiently waited while we finished up other projects around the house. The time finally came for us to tackle her room, and she was more than happy to help me with the painting!
