Our leaves have already started to change outside, but before the bright oranges and yellows appear, there are deep burgundy’s and muted tones popping up as our green leaves begin to turn. It’s really quite a beautiful process, and I love that I get to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country to have a front row seat. For this years tablescape I wanted to reflect what was going on in nature outside.
Do you remember the first Pinterest project you tried? You know the one that had all the promise in the world of delivering, and making you feel like you were on top of the world. The one where your kids stand in awe, and your husband is so impressed he does the dishes after dinner?! I was so relieved once I started seeing people post their “Pinterest Fails”. Like literally, deep exhale of all that striving and thinking “you can do this”, just to have a complete and utter failure of a project sitting in front of you staring back at you in all of it’s ugliness. I am so excited to be sharing with you today the reveal of our sons room makeover!! This has been such a fun project to work on, and the transformation is night and day! We did a complete overhaul in our sons room, and transformed it into a space we all want to spend time in. I think my daughter is trying to convince him to do a room swap with her now, lol, but I have some things up my sleeve to freshen up her space next.
