I don't know about you, but I have been taking my time these last few weeks, and really enjoying the slower pace after all the business from the holidays. I feel more relaxed, even though I feel like I've been making huge progress on tackling some of those household chores that got pushed aside during the busy season. This year I've really been embracing the "fresh start" mentality that comes with the new year. I've been cleaning out closets and drawers. Each year I like to start things off by writing down some goals I have for the new year. I'll be sharing more on how I do this personally, but I also set goals for the blog, and projects I want to do around our home. My husband and I joke that the winter is our "Project Season", but typically it's because we are cooped up inside due to impending snow. It's fun to look back on goals I've set in past years. HAPPY New Year friends!! Honestly, my mind is still just in shock that the holidays have come and gone. Christmas is less than a week away, and I can hardly believe it! I really haven't even begun to wrap my head around the fact, that right behind it is a new year, with all the new possibilities it will bring.
