Hello Friends! I’m so excited to be sharing my outdoor lilac tablescape with you today along with 13 of my blogging friends just in time for summer get-togethers! If you’re a long time friend of the blog, then you know just how much I love creating tablescapes! I also shared some exciting news about a BIG ‘ol dream of mine coming true in book form HERE not to long ago about tablescapes. Our lilacs are finally in bloom here in New England, and even though they only last what feels like a fleeting moment, I couldn’t resist creating this casual – elegant lilac tablescape outdoors. Happy Friday Friends!! As we head into the long holiday weekend, I wanted to share one of my most favorite go-to summer recipes with you! Fig & Proscuitto flatbread pizza. We make this all summer long, and it’s one of my favorites to make when we have guests over. Even people who have never had it before, or wouldn’t typically pick this as their choice of pizza in a line up of different slices, all confirm that this is now their new favorite! So whether you are hosting a get together this weekend, attending one, or sitting at home, I have a feeling this will be your new favorite too!

I’m totally smitten with the bar cart trend that’s been going on, not sure what I’m talking about, just search “bar cart” on Pinterest and you will see an endless scroll of inspiration. There are so many different ways you can utilize a bar cart as well, some for plants, some for craft supplies, and of course some for drinks! I picked up this sweet little bar cart back in March, and have used it in a few areas around my house, and even though it doesn’t have a permanent spot yet I wanted to show you how I styled my bar cart for summer!

As a kid I always used to love going to the beach in the summer and all the coastal towns would put out their American flags. Every store front and shop had one, and the lined the streets. Maybe that’s the nostalgic feeling I get when I see an American flag in the summer. Hello Friends!! I can’t believe that summer is only seconds away! I say that because we are in our last week of school, summer temps are here… and the humidity, and with it just brings the much needed slowdown to a gentler pace. I’ll be sharing some more of our fire pit area on Wednesday for the last installment of the Seasonal Simplicity tour, and then our new outdoor dining area early next week!
