I get so many questions on how we installed the gravel patio around our fire pit area, that I wanted to share how we installed our new gravel patio area next to the house. Hello Friends!! It’s no secret that we love to spend time in our outdoor living spaces. Over the past 4 years we’ve really focused on making them spaces that draw you outside, wanting to spend all day in the warm summer air. This weekend always feels like the official kick-off to summer, and even though our temps have been a bit colder, I am finally ready to get our outdoor spaces ready for the summer. Over the past few years I’ve found some things that are definitely essential in making our outdoor spaces more comfortable, so today I’m sharing some of my favorite landscaping and patio essentials!
I often get asked what color our trim is painted throughout our house. It’s not secret, I love really bright, large white trim! It feels so crisp and so fresh, but knowing what color to paint trim can be tricky when you want to achieve this look. But I’ve figured out a way that takes the pressure off of trying to decide which white paint color is “the” white paint color for trim. In fact, I’ve done this time and time again in our own house, so today I’m sharing my go-to trim paint color.
Hello Friends!! We have been working on so many projects around our house lately. And while it’s fun to see the progress, I can’t wait to share them with you, I find there is something else on my heart today that I want to share instead. So many thoughts swirling in my head, and weighing heavy on my heart as we come to the end of yet another week, still in uncertain times. It was exactly 2 months ago to date that our kids started distance learning, and what began as weeks, has now turned into months. As the “Stay-at-Home” orders begin to lift, I find so many questions are still up in the air. Hello Friends!! First of all I want to say THANK YOU for all the birthday wishes I received over the weekend! I love this community, and the amazing women that are apart of it! Since my birthday falls the weekend before mothers day, you can imagine my husband is pulling double duty, to make sure that both events are just as special!
