Friends, let me first start off by saying that I can’t believe the time has finally come to tell you more about my first BOOK! It releases in just under a month, and honestly every time I think about the words I want to write to share how I’m feeling, I am overcome by emotions and happy tears well up in my eyes. I’m so excited to share with you today about my very own BOOK – The Gift of Gathering, and hopefully I can make it through this post without crying 🙂
Hello Friends!! I shared yesterday how we are beginning to slowly transition into fall. I think one thing I always have to remind myself when I’m swapping out our seasonal decor, is that it’s not a race. I don’t have to rush to have it completely finished in one day. I can take my time, and work my way around out house, creating little vignettes here, or swapping out throw pillows there. Because when I rush, I don’t always enjoy it – it feels more forced. Instead I allow my spaces to speak to me, and create as I feel inspired. I started transitioning our kitchen into fall, come and take a look ~

I always enjoy switching up the decor around our house for each new season, and as we subtly begin to transition into fall, a new wreath is always a great place to start!!

Hello Friends!! Well, demo has officially begun on our kitchen floor. I have to be honest with you, this tile demo has truly been a test of stamina. After tearing up the tile floor in our master bathroom makeover, I anticipated the mess. The debris and dust that comes with construction. I thought it would be like our bathroom. I thought there would be some work, but I never expected it to be like this.
